Asher Monroe has released the music video for his track ‘Midnight Masquerade’ and it was well worth the wait.
The video for ‘Midnight Masquerade’ is one that blends CGI and real-life performance from Asher to create a video which you will endlessly for days to come.
Asher worked with Jubesco Fernandes on the concept for the video which sees him straddle and break down the barriers of two completely different worlds.
The track has made it onto BBC Radio 2’s playlist and has been played numerous times by one of the biggest radio stations in the UK. Midnight Masquerade also marks the first official single Asher has released in the UK.
His upcoming album ‘Windows of Time’, which will be released later this year, was created by Asher alongside acclaimed producer Walter Afanasieff – whose credits include Mariah Carey, Gary Barlow, and Barbra Streisand, is an album packed with hushed drama, rich instrumentation and colossal choruses. The album’s cinematic style is ripe for the silver screen or, as Elton John suggested when Asher first played him the project, a Broadway musical.
Asher also recently achieved another huge and important moment in his career, he performed his first gig in the UK at an extremely intimate (and covid safe) showcase in London at Brasserie Zedel’s Caberet venue Crazy Coqs. He performed tracks off his upcoming album including Wanderlust, Why Do You Love Me? Rose Amidst The Thorns, Story Of A Bird, Midnight Masquerade, Golden Road, Season In The Sun and Try Me.
