For My Sins is the third book in the David trilogy while reading the previous titles would fill in the blanks, it’s still a gripping read if you read it as a standalone. From the first page, you are immersed in David’s world. It’s a dark read, full of violence, foul language and mentions of child abuse so some care should be taken if those things trigger you before deciding to read the book. That being said the author navigates the subject matter delicately, keeping the reader engaged and turning the pages to see what happens next.
