Cian Ducrot announced his second album, Little Dreaming, dropping July 11th. This follows his chart-topping debut Victory, and from the sound of things, this next chapter will be bigger, bolder, and a little more theatrical.
The title track, Little Dreaming, already gives us a taste of what’s coming — upbeat, bright, and full of those ‘70s and ‘80s influences (think Elton John and Queen vibes). The music video adds another fun layer, featuring actors from popular Irish series Say Nothing and The Young Offenders, which feels like a nice nod to his roots.
Cian himself describes this album as “a crazy journey” where he set out to be as creative and free as possible. It’s clear he’s leaning into more playful, grand pop sounds while still keeping the emotional depth that made Victory so well-loved. And if you liked his raw, open-hearted writing before, don’t worry — that honesty is still front and center, now mixed with a more confident, stadium-ready polish.
The big tour news is also exciting: it will start September 13th in Manchester, travel through Europe, and hit major venues like London’s O2 Academy Brixton and Dublin’s 3Arena.
