For the first time in their career, Westlife will take the stage at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall, launching their 25th anniversary celebrations with two exclusive performances. These special shows will mark a major milestone for the Irish pop group, who will be accompanied by the world-renowned Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

Scheduled for two nights only, this collaboration promises a unique musical experience, blending Westlife’s greatest hits with full orchestral arrangements.

In a statement, Westlife said: “The Royal Albert Hall is a very special venue that we have always dreamt of playing. It means so much to kickstart our 25th Anniversary celebrations at this iconic venue. It will be an unforgettable 2 Nights performing all of our hits accompanied by the London Philharmonic Concert Orchestra… Wow!! We can’t wait to see you and remember to dress to impress! This is just the beginning… Happy 25th to us all!”

Over the past 25 years, Westlife has become one of the most successful pop groups in the world. They have sold over 55 million records globally and hold the record for the most singles to debut at No.1 on the UK charts—14 in total—surpassed only by The Beatles and Elvis Presley. Their first seven singles all went straight to No.1, and they’ve achieved 33 No.1 albums worldwide. As a touring act, they’ve sold over 6 million concert tickets.

The upcoming Royal Albert Hall shows will give fans a rare opportunity to hear these classic tracks in a new orchestral context, offering a fresh take on the band’s extensive catalog.

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra (RPCO) is known for its adaptability and creative partnerships, performing a wide range of styles from classical and film music to reimagined rock and pop. With a live audience reach of over 170,000 people annually, the RPCO’s presence ensures the performances will be both musically rich and emotionally powerful.

These anniversary concerts are set to be a highlight not only for Westlife fans but for the wider pop music scene, offering a blend of nostalgia, celebration, and artistry.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 20th June via LiveNation.co.uk.
