The K’s release new single “Me And Your Sister”

The K’s have dropped a new single, Me And Your Sister, via LAB Records, and it’s another confident step forward for the fast-rising four-piece. Taken from their upcoming second album Pretty On The Internet—out July 25th—the track is a sharp blend of swagger, nerves, and emotional honesty, wrapped in the band’s signature guitar-led sound.

Frontman Jamie Boyle explains the song’s inspiration: “I’m probably best known for my brutally honest, real-time documentation of the chaos constantly unfolding in my head… but with Me And Your Sister, I wanted to take a slightly less serious route.” That shift works. The lyrics play out like a panicked inner monologue, capturing the all-too-familiar experience of hyping yourself up for a romantic moment and then completely falling apart. It’s funny, self-aware, and still manages to sting.

Musically, the track doesn’t reinvent the wheel—and it doesn’t need to. The K’s know their sound and execute it with style. Guitars crash and jangle with purpose, the rhythm section keeps everything grounded, and Boyle delivers his vocals with the kind of lived-in charm that turns vulnerability into power. It’s indie-rock that feels alive—tight but never clinical, loose but never careless.

Produced by Grammy winner Jim Lowe (Stereophonics, The Dandy Warhols) and mixed by Pete Hutchings (Royal Blood, Foals), Pretty On The Internet is shaping up to be a big moment for the band. Previous singles Breakdown In My Bedroom, Gravestone, The Bends (Here We Go Again) and Helen, Oh I have already landed with impact, balancing high-energy riffs with introspective lyricism.

Live, The K’s continue to grow their reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting guitar bands. This year alone, they’ve played London’s Roundhouse, Neighbourhood Festival, and headlined Rolling Stone’s ‘Future of UK Music’ event at SXSW London following their US debut in Texas. More shows are on the way, including appearances at TRNSMT, Kendal Calling, and Tramlines, as well as a string of intimate gigs in celebration of the album’s release.

Off stage, the momentum doesn’t stop. Guitarist Ryan Breslin recently featured in the official launch of Gretsch’s Professional Collection Broadkaster LX, performing an instrumental of Black And Blue—a standout from their 2024 debut I Wonder If The World Knows?, which charted at #3 in the UK, behind only The Libertines and Beyoncé. It became the country’s second biggest debut of the year and went Bronze within months.

“Me And Your Sister” is the latest in a run of strong releases from The K’s, landing just ahead of their new album, Pretty On The Internet, out July 25.
