The K’s return with their second album, Pretty On The Internet, following their 2024 debut, I Wonder If The World Knows?, which reached #3 on the UK Official Albums Chart and became one of the biggest first-week debuts of the year. This new record continues the momentum, blending sharp songwriting with the energy that has made them a favourite on the live circuit.
Singles like “Breakdown In My Bedroom,” “Me & Your Sister,” and “Gravestone” have already connected with listeners, racking up millions of streams. “Helen, Oh I” adds a quieter, string-led moment that expands the album’s dynamic range without losing cohesion.
The latest single “Rat Poison” stands out. Written about hazy, late-night moments and the self-reflection that follows, it captures a specific mood with clarity and detail. The arrangement is tight, and the vocal performance brings out the emotion in the lyrics.
Across the album, Jamie Boyle’s vocals are confident and expressive, backed by strong performances from Ryan Breslin (guitar), Dexter Baker (bass), and Nathan Peers (drums). Production by Jim Lowe and mixing by Pete Hutchings give the album a clean, well-balanced sound.
