Postcards From Sicily is a lovely summer read that will have you yearning to book a holiday to Sicily, as it woos you with beautiful atmospheric descriptions and a delightful plot.
It’s a heart-warming and emotive tale of friendship, second chances and starting over. I found Olivia to be really relatable and easy to like. Susan was cleverly depicted as everything Olivia believed her to be, so much that, as a reader, you believed it too. Until you realised it wasn’t as it seemed. It showed just how Nancy Barone excels at writing characters.
If you want a heartwarming summer read, this one is worth considering.
