The Death and Life of Amy Smith is a quirky, fun and original debut which really makes you think about mental health. Your own and that of those around you.
Amy is the wonderfully funny and flawed character who goes through so much growth in the story from her life and her new life in the afterlife. She starts off as this lonely kind of desperate individual to seemingly finding herself in the after life.
It’s a fun and entertaining read. The only thing I wish had been fleshed out more was the role of agents in the afterlife like Amy became so that you could fully appreciate the scope and gravity of what they actually did.
But overall a very enjoyable read!
