A Waltz with the Outspoken Governess is Mills and Boon Historical at it’s absolute best. It’s fully of witty dialogue, strong minded characters who each have their own distinct personalities which really come across as you read. It has a slow burn romance as well as lots mystery. It was nice to see the romance between Mary and Nicholas develop from a passing attraction to full on love. It made it feel very realistic, and didn’t feel cliche like some romance stories fall in to the trap of.
