The band have visited schools across the country, not only to perform for the students, but to also educate them about the importance of mental health, tying in with charity Young Minds. The absence of major label or TV talent shows has traditionally made it difficult for bands to breakthrough, but Here At Last are breaking the mould with their growing army of fans, affectionately known as HALOs.
Made up of Zach Loizou , Tommy Lyon , Pedro Santos , James Thomas and Ryan Burns , the group now live together in Reading, UK. They had all individually been posting videos online and had been discussing meeting to form a band when lockdown hit. Heading bravely into the unknown and despite being only teenagers, they decided to move in together and take the opportunity to begin their journey as Here At Last.
Their latest single God Took His Time is sure to be a summer hit. Speaking of the track, Here At Last said, “We are so excited for the release of ‘God Took His Time’. This song is completely up for interpretation and that’s something we love about it. It could be about self-love, a partner, a family member – it could even be about your dog! It’s upbeat and a bit different from a traditional love song and lyrically it’s just about telling someone how amazing they are.”
Here At Last will be embarking on a UK tour. Happy You’re Here UK Tour. Kicking things off in Glasgow on 20th October, they will visit Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol before wrapping things up at London’s indigo at the O2 on October 25th. In February, Here At Last sold out three shows across the country including London’s iconic Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
