We like a good party so we love the sound of Smirnoff x Sink The Pink – WE DO US Live. It promises to be super inclusive and accessible, it’s also FREE to attend!
WE DO US Live will launch in London, with nightlife icons Sink The Pink reform for one night only, to curate The event will see various measures taken to ensure accessibility such as Quiet Rooms, British Sign Language performers, inclusive furniture, and trained staff.
Hosted by Fats Timbo and Layton Williams, with Mel C doing a DJ set, Eurovision star Mae Muller, internationally acclaimed drag troupe of Queens and Kings with Down syndrome, Drag Syndrome, Grammy & BRIT award-winning singer-songwriter Kamille also performing, WE DO US Live is set to be a fantastic evening for all attending!
Smirnoff is working with Disability-led organisation, Tilting the Lens, to drive change and bring people together with music and nightlife collectives around the UK. They are on a mission to reignite social connections globally through its WE DO US campaign. In the UK, the brand will focus on lowering barriers to socialising and breaking boundaries to bring people together. The UK launch will focus on accessibility and supporting the Disabled community in clubs, bars and pubs.
There are over 12 million adults living in the UK with a Disability (House of Commons Library, published 23 August 2023), Research has shown that three out of four Disabled people have been left disappointed or have had to abandon night-time plans because of poor accessibility.( Source: Euan’s Guide Survey, 2023)This causes businesses approximately £2 billion of lost revenue per month.
It highlights that there is an immediate need to put best practices in place to create real, meaningful solutions which is where WE DO US Live events come in, they are hopefully the start of the solution.

The process of creating the launch of WE DO US Live will look to serve as a ground-breaking moment in terms of venue accessibility by utilising best-in-practice commitments developed by Tilting the Lens, to help establish a new benchmark in event accessibility by transforming the 26 Leake Street venue. Eventgoers are invited to see how accessibility can be integrated into nightlife and on trade spaces.
