The Script has made an important announcement about their future as a band. In a heartfelt post, they took to social media to announce that they will move forward as a quartet.
The decision comes after an extremely hard year for the band and its fans, with the passing of Mark Sheehan, who is much missed.
The announcement clearly shows that the band wants to continue honouring Mark and the legacy he created with the band while moving forward into a new chapter.
In the statement, Danny and Glen explain that Ben Sargeant, who has been with the band on bass since the start, will join them on stage as usual with the new addition of Ben Weaver playing guitar.
The Script has spent the past year touring with P!nk and will rejoin her for more gigs across the UK and Europe over the summer.
They have also teased new music, which has made us very excited.
