Absnt Mind released their debut single ‘No Strings’ earlier this month and we can guarantee once you hear it(if you haven’t already) you will have it on repeat.
The band, Alex Benson, Oscar Williams, Conor Marcus, Ashton Henry-Reid and Freddie Meyer have quickly made a name for themselves on social media with over 10k followers on Instagram and nearly 30k on TikTok. Their fandom have named themselves “Absentees” which has also grown rapidly after a hugely successful schools tour.
Their debut single ‘No Strings’ introduces listeners to the band. It encourages breaking free from the constraints of pressure that their
generation feels, to embrace the present moment and revel in the joy of simply being. It perfectly encapsulates what they
stand for by touching on commitment, respect and the desire for meaningful relationships.
The band are about to embark on their first major headline tour across the UK. Where fans can expect to hear ‘No Strings’ and other original songs they have been working on. As well as a repertoire of covers spanning from Raye, through Harry Styles to SZA.
