The Script have announced they are to play two very intimate gigs later this year in Bristol and Sheffield.
The chart topping band are currently touring the world as special guests of P!NK, and will headline their own arena tour in UK and Europe in October later this year.
But they have also announce two very intimate one off gigs, one of which will be at The Leadmill, the iconic music venue in Sheffield which holds just 900 people.

successful history, is certainly not something we take lightly. One thing for sure is that
anyone lucky enough to grab tickets for December is in store for something really really
special, what a treat this is going to be. “
The gig which will take place in December promises to be a memorable and once in a lifetime experience for those who attend. It will see the four piece perform iconic hits such as Man That Can’t Be Moved, Breakeven and Hall of Fame. As well as hits from their upcoming seventh studio album Satellites which will be released in August.
The four piece have just released the second track from the album “At Your Feet’. Which frontman Danny wrote after being inspired by watching a game of footie on the TV. and one of the pundits said, “He plays with the world on his shoulders when it should be at his feet.” Danny turned those words into a lyric that will resonate with so many people: “I’d rather take the world off your shoulders and put it at your feet.”
Danny says, “I was like: brilliant! I’m having that! You can totally turn that into some kind of connotation with love. And I went into the studio the next day with that and in five minutes we penned the chorus.”
The announcement is another in a series of high-profile acts appearing at The Leadmill in 2024, with actor and country star Kiefer Sutherland, Scottish pop outfit Del Amitri and Sheffield metalcore band While She Sleeps all performing sold-out shows at the veteran
venue later in the year.
