Only The Poets have dropped a new ep ‘better on the internet’. It features four new tracks and is a thank you to fans for all their support of the band over the years.
The tracks included on the new EP are miserable, everything you know, indigo and already there. Each track was dropped over the course of four days, cumulating in the release of ‘better on the internet’. All were promoted via the bands social media pages.

‘better on the internet’ is a thank you to fans, as the band are teasing “things are about to change”. Nobody quite knows what the change is. The band comprising of Tommy Longhurst, bassist Andy “Roo” Burge, guitarist Clem Cherry and drummer Marcus Yates, have established themselves in just a few short years as one of the UK’s biggest emerging live acts.
Unsigned until the beginning of 2023, the band’s DIY ethos saw them build things from the ground up, from playing student house parties, pub circuits and small venues to selling out large capacity venues in the UK and across Europe in the last couple of years.
They are at the forefront of a growing movement in the industry which sees artists striving to connect in more meaningful ways with their fans. With them and their team being one of the first to use the growing fan engagement platform Openstage and are used as a case study on the website.
The band are currently making there way through the remaining dates on the ‘One More Night Tour’ which sees them touring UK and Europe until September. Then there are two very special ‘One More Fright’ shows for Halloween in Rotterdam.
You can keep up to date with everything Only The Poets are up to here!
