LALA HAYDEN is stepping fully into her era with the release of her fierce new single ‘beast’, the cathartic closer to her shimmering new EP viva venus—out now via all major platforms.
Produced by Ben Christophers (Bat For Lashes, Françoise Hardy), viva venus is a high-concept, high-impact sonic journey through modern love and digital vulnerability. Think glittering synth-pop meets emotional soul-baring, laced with echoes of Robyn, Ladyhawke, Róisín Murphy, and a flicker of Madonna-in-the-club energy.
‘beast’ is the EP’s emotional knockout: an anthemic release of self-doubt, codependency, and vulnerability that feels as intimate as it is liberating. “All my guards are down,” says LALA, “and I show you inside of my head on a down day.” The track swells into a euphoric, synth-drenched affirmation of self-worth that hits like a mirrorball epiphany.
From the hypnotic opener ‘honeymoon suite’ (co-written with members of Twin Atlantic) to the spiraling emotional depths of ‘baby you’re the best!’ and the club-ready pulse of ‘rush of love’, LALA Hayden has crafted a vivid emotional world.
