Northern Ireland’s breakout singer-songwriter Odhran Murphy returns with new single “Angel of Mine”, released via 10K Projects—home to artists like Ice Spice, Trippie Redd, Aminé, and Artemas. The track arrives ahead of his headline show at Camden Assembly on May 13th, as anticipation builds for his debut EP.
Rooted in Odhran’s signature Country-Folk sound with gentle Pop textures, “Angel of Mine” delivers a heartfelt exploration of love’s risks and rewards. The track showcases his raw, emotionally honest songwriting and melodic instinct, crafted through an organic, self-taught approach to music.
“It’s a fearless leap into love with no backup plan—this song is about giving someone everything, knowing the fall could break you, but loving them enough to risk it all,” says Murphy.
Hailing from County Armagh, Odhran’s connection to his homeland runs deep. A multi-instrumentalist and storyteller, his musical journey began in childhood, inspired by a family immersed in live performance and local culture. Teaching himself guitar, piano, and banjo by ear, he quickly found his voice in songwriting, pulling inspiration from artists like Ed Sheeran.
Odhran Murphy’s rise accelerated with the viral success of “Limitless Love”, which gained traction on TikTok and has since surpassed 7.5 million streams on Spotify. With a growing fanbase of nearly 500K monthly listeners, his blend of intimate lyricism and vibrant acoustic arrangements has earned him a unique place in the modern Country-Folk landscape.
Now signed to 10K Projects, Odhran Murphy is poised for a breakout year. “Angel of Mine” is the latest glimpse into a debut EP that promises to resonate far beyond his roots.
