Rising star and piano virtuoso Brad Kella has announced his first headline UK tour, marking a major milestone in what has been a remarkable year for the self-taught Liverpudlian musician.
After capturing the nation’s heart as the winner of Channel 4’s The Piano – judged by global legends Lang Lang and Mika – Brad is ready to take centre stage with his powerful and emotive compositions, beginning 16 September at Glasgow’s Oran Mor and culminating at the iconic Union Chapel in London.
This tour follows a string of sold-out shows, including standout performances at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and London’s Purcell Room and a current run of dates supporting Gary Barlow.

Brad’s debut album, titled in honour of his two daughters, is an intimate and expansive collection of original piano works. Recorded entirely from memory over eight hours at London’s RAK Studios, the album features stunning orchestration from Rosie Danvers (Adele, Coldplay, Jay-Z), weaving cinematic soundscapes with Brad’s unmistakable melodic style.
Brad cites Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, and Ludovico Einaudi as key influences, but his sound is entirely his own – deeply emotional, richly textured, and driven by instinct rather than notation. “I play from the heart,” Brad says. “Reading music always felt like following someone else’s story. I wanted to tell my own.”
His artistry has earned acclaim not just for its beauty, but for its authenticity. With no formal training, Brad’s ascent is a powerful reminder that talent, passion, and perseverance can defy even the most conventional paths.
Recently appointed as an ambassador for the Lang Lang Foundation, Brad also uses his platform to support young musicians from all backgrounds and advocate for accessible music education.
With Phoebe’s Melody set for release this June and a major UK tour on the horizon, 2025 will be a defining year for one of Britain’s most exciting new classical voices.
