2025 is proving to be a milestone year for Cian Ducrot. After starting the year by picking up his first Grammy as co-writer of SZA’s global hit Saturn, the Irish singer-songwriter now turns his focus back to his music, as anticipation builds for the release of his second studio album Little Dreaming, due out on 1 August.
The project is already shaping up to be a defining moment in his career, driven by a series of bold singles and a growing fan base across both sides of the Atlantic.
Recent singles “Who’s Making You Feel It?”, “Shalalala”, and the album’s title track have each added to the momentum, showcasing different sides of Cian’s sound—from stadium-sized ballads to disco-tinged emotional pop. Now comes “Your Eyes,” a brand new addition to the tracklist that captures the artist in a moment of gratitude and calm.
Written with Anton Göransson, Isabella Sjöstrand (RAYE), and Bill Maybury (James Bay), and produced by Cian alongside Göransson, “Your Eyes” channels romantic euphoria into something fully cinematic. The track builds from a soft acoustic opening into a rush of claps, harmonies, and gleeful energy—clearly timed to mark this new chapter in Cian’s life and career.
Cian says, “This song is a celebration life, love and friendship and it’s everything I want to put out in the world at this moment! I made it with my best friends, and I can’t wait for the world to share it with theirs.”
Thematically, “Your Eyes” is a celebration of emotional security and love hard-won. While Cian’s earlier catalogue often explored heartbreak, longing, and difficult goodbyes, this track is the flip side: a clear-eyed love song that reflects on the strength found in real connection. It arrives at a time when the singer seems more confident than ever in his artistic direction—and more comfortable letting his joy take the spotlight.
Cian wrote over 100 songs for potential inclusion on ‘Little Dreaming’. But even after delivering the album, inspiration continued to flow thick-and-fast. With so many songs worthy of inclusion, he announced that he had added another three tracks to its running order – each of which fits the mood, style and standard of the rest of the collection.
