of Cold Feet & Fragile Soul is the latest release from Nottingham-based singer/songwriter Isaac Anderson.

It’s the third EP he has released and his most honest, raw and vulnerable work to date. The release comes after a hectic few years for Isaac, during which he juggled his own solo tour and career with the full-on commitments of being a backing vocalist and guitarist for Louis Tomlinson. He decided the best thing to do was to take a step back and take time to just be. That became the base for what has become of Cold Feet & Fragile Soul.

“The truth is, I had tied up so much of myself in music that I didn’t quite know who I was without it,”
Isaac explained. “With the constant noise of touring silenced and my creativity dried up through
sheer exhaustion, I didn’t really have much left but some pretty uncomfortable truths to confront.”“I was in my late twenties. My friends were starting families and buying houses while I was at home, alone, with no job, no savings and no idea of who I actually was. It was very confusing, quite scary, and a little sad. I wasn’t sure what to do next.”

Two standout tracks on the EP are Factory Reset, which sees Isaac candidly sing about the burnout he experienced and how important it was for him to take the time he did to reset. It’s a song many who listen to it will relate to, as while Isaac gave himself the time to reset, many of us do not and maybe we should.

” Worst of You” is a track that feels like a hug in song form. A message for anyone who is struggling in whatever way that difficult times do pass.

Overall, the EP comprises five tracks that deeply explore loss, love, and self-discovery, with Isaacs’ trademark vocals blending pop, rock, and soul into an EP that is entirely his own.

Later this year, Isaac will play his first US festival as a solo artist at the Away From Home Festival, which will take place in Cooperstown, New York. He will share the stage with Louis Tomlinson. LAUV, Plain White T’s, Steve Aoki and more. (All info here).
