Vinyl lovers, pop culture enthusiasts and music superfans — this one’s for you. RCA Records UK is opening the doors to its very first pop-up store, launching Wednesday 24th September at Mare Street Market, Kings Cross. And it’s not just any pop-up — this is a nine-month immersive celebration of one of music’s most legendary labels.
Part record store, part interactive fan zone, part cultural installation, the RCA pop-up offers a rare physical space for fans to connect with the music and the artists that defined (and continue to define) generations. Expect curated vinyl collections, exclusive artist merch, throwback moments, visual tributes, and surprise activations — all honouring the label’s rich legacy and genre-spanning roster.
A home to icons past, present and future — including Beyoncé, Sade, André 3000, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell, KAYTRANADA, Bring Me The Horizon and rising star Myles Smith — RCA Records UK is placing itself right at the cultural heartbeat of London’s Kings Cross.
To kick things off, the launch event will spotlight pop powerhouse JADE in celebration of her debut album Showbiz Baby. Fans will be invited into a visual world inspired by JADE’s signature style and cinematic aesthetic. Think fashion installations, fan memorabilia, and era-defining looks — including her Glastonbury outfit and the now-iconic ‘Angel of My Dreams’ powder-blue fur coat.
Award-winning contemporary artist Koby Martin will also lend his touch to the space, unveiling an exclusive monochrome mural created just for the shop — fusing music, street art and cultural storytelling in one unforgettable centrepiece.
Strategically located in Mare Street Market Kings Cross, the space offers the perfect blend of music, art, retail and creativity — a natural extension of RCA’s presence in the capital. With restaurants, bars, food pop-ups and community events on its doorstep — and just steps from Sony Music HQ — this residency isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s a bold, new take on what a record label can be in 2025.
