Once We Were Lovers is another great read from R J Gould who is master at portraying characters emotions so you feel real empathy for them.
It’s a book where the characters have so much depth and both the main characters have such engrossing stories as individuals that you struggle to put the book down as you want to keep up with them on their journey. And what a journey it is, filled with heartbreak, guilt, betrayal, forgiveness, second chances and love.
