What makes this book really sing is the characters, each is unique and really adds something to the story. I really enjoyed the intersecting stories. If you have read the series before, you will know we first meet Persephone Wilkins in The Falconers’ Lost Baron, and now her story continues in this novel. Without a doubt, Persephone is one of the strongest characters that Susanne has written to date. It is an absolute joy to get to know her more in this book.
A fantastic read for lovers of regency romance!
