Wodens Vengeance is the third book in the First Kingdom series. While it works fine as a standalone, reading the other books in the series really enhances the overall enjoyment of the story.
The story itself is extremely well-plotted, and you learn a lot about battles and their aftermath in that period of history. Octa is such an interesting and phenomenally well-written character, and it’s fascinating to get to know him, peel back the layers, and see the extraordinary journey he goes on.
If you enjoyhistorical ficiton with lots of depth, full of interesting characters and where you learn about the the past, then is one to add to your to read pile!
