The O2 is turning 20 next year, and its birthday celebrations are continuing to get bigger with Jorja Smith becoming the latest artist to join the line-up.
Jorja will headline the London venue on 17 July 2027, in what will be both her first headline performance at The O2 and her only UK arena show of the year.
It’s quite a milestone for an artist whose journey began with Blue Lights and has since taken her around the world, earning two BRIT Awards along the way.
“Performing at The O2 as part of its 20th birthday celebrations is a huge honour,” Jorja said. “It’s a venue that has hosted so many incredible artists and unforgettable moments over the years, so to be part of this milestone feels really special. I’m excited to celebrate with you all.”
And she certainly won’t be celebrating alone.
The O2 opened its doors in 2007 and has since welcomed more than 100 million visitors to over 3,000 shows. Rather than marking its 20th birthday with just one big night, the venue is stretching the celebrations across summer 2027 with a series of special concerts.
Jorja joins a line-up that already shows just how varied those celebrations are going to be.
Maisie Peters will perform on 8 May, followed by Shreya Ghoshal on 4 June and Don Omar on 5 July, before Jorja takes over the arena on 17 July. And there are still plenty more artists to be announced.
For Jorja, the show adds another significant moment to a career that has seen her collaborate with everyone from Stormzy and Burna Boy to Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino.
Christian D’Acuna, Vice President of Programming at The O2, described Jorja’s first headline appearance at the venue as a special moment for both the arena and her fans, while confirming that it will be her only UK arena performance of 2027.
After two decades of huge concerts and countless memorable nights, The O2 clearly isn’t planning on marking its birthday quietly.
And with almost a year still to go before the celebrations begin, there are plenty more names left to join the party.
Priority Tickets are available exclusively to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers via the Priority app from 10am on Wednesday 26 August 2026 and go on general sale at 10am on Friday 28 August 2026 via www.theo2.co.uk.
