London is full of fantastic places to eat and drink, no matter what budget you have or what type of cuisine you are looking for there is something for everyone. We thought we’d put together a list of places where you can eat and drink that are on our list to visit in 2022 for the first time or again and again because we love them so much.
Decimo- The Standard London
If you love tortillas and something a bit different then you need to visit Decimo which is situated on the 10th floor of The Standard Hotel in London. In keeping with The Standards expect breath-taking views of London, a chilled vibe it’s a wonderful place to spend an evening, eating Gambas Rojas and drinking some Mezcal cocktails where Michelin-starred Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias fuses his family’s Spanish cuisine expertly with his love for Mexico.

The Stage- The Londoner
The Stage is the champagne bar inside the gorgeous hotel, The Londoner, while slightly on the pricey side. The attention to detail by the staff when making your drinks makes it so worth it. If there is something you’d like to drink that isn’t on the menu, speak to the staff and they will do their best to make it. The knowledge they have of the drinks they stock and of wine and cocktails is second to none. If you sit at the bar you can watch the bartenders create the drinks which is a really cool experience.

Balans
Balans in Soho is a bit of an institution. It has No. 60 ( the big one), No. 34 (the small one) and outlets across London. Its menu takes inspiration from all over the world and its famous all-day brunch menu. Open until late (we are talking 5 AM, in the case of No.60), it caters for all you needs when it comes to places to eat and drink in London.

Smiths Bar and Grill
Smiths Bar and Grill is one of our favourite places to eat and drink in Paddington. They do one of the best Sunday roast menus we have ever had the pleasure of tasting. It overlooks the beautiful Grand Union Canal. Located a stone’s throw away from bustling Paddington Station, a complete haven to enjoy a drink after work or a meal with friends. Sampling some of the modern British inspired food that restaurant has to offer.
