Halloween is returning to Disneyland Paris this month, and Mickey, Minnie and quite a few Disney Villains are getting suitably spooky for the occasion.
The Disney Halloween Festival will take over Disneyland Park from 26 September until 1 November 2026, bringing back seasonal favourites alongside new decorations, costumes, food and experiences.
And this year, the transformation starts pretty much as soon as you walk through the gates.
Main Street, U.S.A. is getting around 40 new pumpkins and 170 candles inspired by Mickey and his friends, alongside Victorian-style garlands and an entirely new soundtrack. After dark, projections will give Main Street an appropriately more mysterious makeover.
There are some familiar faces waiting amongst all those pumpkins too.
Mickey will appear dressed as a mystical count for the first time, while Minnie becomes a witch, Donald transforms into a vampire and Daisy arrives as a rather fabulous bat lady. Each of their new Victorian-inspired outfits also features a matching bat brooch complete with its own coloured diamond.

Naturally, Halloween at Disney wouldn’t be complete without the Villains.
Cruella, Maleficent, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts and Dr. Facilier are among those making appearances throughout the festival, while The Nightmare Before Christmas favourites Jack Skellington and Sally are also returning.
Mickey’s Halloween Celebration is back
One of the biggest returning favourites is Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, with the four-float cavalcade making its way through Disneyland Park once again.
Daisy leads the procession, which features a host of Disney Characters alongside some less commonly spotted faces including Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar.
Mickey then gets the finale aboard Mickey’s Manor of Illusions, complete with illusions and rapid costume changes.
Elsewhere, Frontierland will celebrate DÃa de los Muertos around Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia, while several Disney Hotels will be getting their own autumn transformations inspired by Disney, Pixar and Marvel.
The Lucky Nugget becomes rather unlucky
Perhaps one of the most interesting additions this year can be found in Frontierland.
The Lucky Nugget Saloon is once again becoming The Unlucky Nugget Saloon, drawing inspiration from nearby Phantom Manor and the wedding reception that Melanie Ravenswood never got to have.
This time, however, the experience is expanding.
The upstairs area has been completely reworked with new decorations and artwork inspired by Phantom Manor’s portraits, joining the music, lighting and special effects already found downstairs. There’s a reimagined menu too.
And there are plenty more Halloween additions to eat your way through across the park, including the Devilish Brookie at Market House Deli and Ursula’s Curse Cake at Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant.
Halloween night itself gets something extra
If you want to go all-in, 31 October is the date to circle.
Disneyland Paris will stay open until 11pm with a special Halloween programme including additional Character Encounters, treats and a one-off fireworks show.
It’s also the only day of the year when guests of all ages can visit Disneyland Paris in costume, so this is one occasion where turning up dressed as your favourite Disney character isn’t reserved for the kids.
Of course, some of Disneyland Paris’ permanent attractions already lend themselves rather well to Halloween.
Phantom Manor is an obvious choice, as is the dragon hiding beneath Sleeping Beauty Castle, while anyone after considerably more adrenaline can head for Big Thunder Mountain or take on the 13-storey drops of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
But between the new costumes, transformed Main Street and an expanded Unlucky Nugget Saloon, there’s enough happening away from the rides to make simply wandering around Disneyland Park part of the fun.
Disney Halloween Festival runs at Disneyland Paris from 26 September to 1 November 2026, with the special Halloween programme taking place on 31 October. You can find out more and book your stay here!
