Walking on Cars are splitting after 10 wonderful years of making music together. The band made the somewhat surprising announcement via their socials.
In the announcement the band announced the split, thanking fans for their support over the years as well as their management team at Seven7 and the crew who have helped with all the shows they’ve done.
Within the announcement Walking on Cars announced one final EP as a goodbye and a gift to their fans, entitled Clouds.
The lead track All The Drinks was the last track foursome wrote together as a band and they said: “it felt that this would be the last track we gave you.” Featuring 6 new tracks the EP, truly is a fitting goodbye from a band who achieved so much.
For 10 years the band have toured the world releasing some incredible tracks which remain staples on many playlists for years to come.
Their track Monster was used as the theme tune for the Netflix show “The Stranger”.
Patrick, Paul, Sorcha and Evan are all working on individual projects, which while longer no working together as Walking on Cars, we look forward to seeing what they each do next.
