Liam Payne continues to use his social platforms to raise awareness and this time he’s lent his voice to Unicef for World Children’s Day and there Voices of Youth campaign.
As part of the Voices of Youth campaign, he got to meet the incredibly inspiring 13-year-old, Areej in Yemen.
In the 4-minute video call uploaded to the Unicef Youtube channel, Liam and Areej discuss some of the challenges that girls face due to conflict and COVID-19 in Yemen.
We think it’s wonderful that Liam is using his platform to highlight and spread awareness of what girls face in some middle eastern countries. It’s a gesture that will make many of fans extremely proud of him.
