Second Chances in Chianti is the second book in the Escape to Tuscany series by T.A Williams and it’s a lovely heart-warming romance.
Author T.A Williams has written all sorts: thrillers, historical novels, short stories and now he enjoys himself hugely writing humour and romance. Romantic comedies are what we all need from time to time. Life isn’t always very fair. It isn’t always a lot of fun, but when it is, we need to embrace it. If his books can put a smile on your face and maybe give your heartstrings a tug, then he knows he has done his job.
T. A Williams has lived all over Europe but now lives in a little village in sleepy Devon, tucked away in south-west England. That’s why you’ll find leafy lanes and thatched cottages in most of his books. Oh, yes, and a black Labrador. Second Chances in Chianti is no exception to this.
Alice thought her future was set in stone, until her past came knocking…
Alice Butler starred in a successful US sitcom until tensions in the cast and crew caused the show to be cancelled. Now, five years later and working towards her dream job in art history, she’s called back for a revival of the show. It can only end in disaster, surely?
Flown to a villa in Chianti to meet with the rest of the cast, Alice must decide where her future lies – with her boyfriend, David, who laps up the Hollywood company, or with the mysterious Matt, who shies away from public attention?

Second Chances in Chianti is beautiful sun drenched romantic read that whisks you off to Italy and the land of celebs and all the glitz and glamour it entails. Two things that always make a very good read.
Alice thought she’d left the world of showbiz behind when the TV show she starred in ended, forging herself a new career away from the glare of the spotlight as an art historian. She’s called to Italy for a cast reunion. Alice’s love life is quite complicated( lots of potential romances) but she’s just a lovely likeable lady that you can sort of see why it’s all so complicated. Oh, and there is a gorgeous labrador, Guinness that we’d just love to adopt.
Even though Second Chances in Chianti is the second in a series, it’s a great standalone novel which will leave you with a huge smile on your face.
