AURORA releases dreamy new single ‘A Potion For Love’

AURORA has released her dreamy new single ‘A Potion For Love’.

The songstress has also been dominating stages across America, whilst on a headline tour there. In April, AURORA completed a sold-out UK headline tour where she stopped in cities including a packed O2 Brixton Academy in London, where she performed to over 5000 fans. She won a highly-regarded Spellemann Award (Norway’s version of the GRAMMYs) for International Success Of The Year!

Her latest single ‘A Potion For Love’ was previously only available to listen to on the vinyl version of previous single, Cure For Me

AURORA explains, “When I wrote Exist For Love, a celebration of the love we carry within us, I also wrote Potion For Love. I wanted to also give something to the people who had lost their love. I find it so beautiful how we still find the bravery to give and receive love knowing how it can disappear at any moment. It makes it foolishly beautiful. Painfully delicious. So little connected to the mind and to logic that it makes my little heart want to burst.”

AURORA has been on a phenomenal trajectory since the beginning of this year. January saw her score her first ever UK Top 10 with the album The Gods We Can Touch (released via Decca), which landed at No.8 on the Official UK Album Chart. Inspired by Greek mythology, it was the third most streamed new album in the world on Spotify the weekend of its release.

Next month she will headline Norway’s Øya Festival alongside Florence + The Machine, Gorillaz and more.

The pop singer-songwriter joined the star-studded lineup at BST earlier this month, alongside the likes of the legendary Duran Duran, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Laura Mvula and more. A 65,000-strong crowd filled Hyde Park in London and witnessed AURORA play a set consisting of tracks spanning her accomplished career.
