Zara Mcdermott wows in a custom Chanel Joan Elkayam gown

Zara Mcdermott attended the Pride of Britain awards this week wearing a stunning custom-made gold gown by designer Chanel Joan Elkayam.

The gorgeous custom-made gown has topped all the best dress lists. Zara’s partner Sam Thompson also wore a bespoke Chanel Joan Elkayam bow tie as well.  Both were styled by stylist Leighanne Krystal. Zara also wore earrings from Ratnali who specialise in luxury and bespoke silver diamond jewellery

This is the second time this year that Zara has worn one of Chanel Joan Elkyams custom designs, she previously topped the best-dressed lists at the BRITS when she stepped out in a black custom-made gown.

Chanel is well known for her fashion shows being some of the most inclusive the industry has seen. Known for pushing boundaries and showing diversity and inclusion in all of her runway shows and campaigns. In previous fashion weeks, she’s had a transgender model and activist Munroe Bergdorf followed by Kate Grant, a Down’s syndrome model breaking down barriers both walk-in her designs.

While making her entire graduate collection Chanel also found the time to make custom face masks to help people during the lockdown.

A graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins school Chanel was recently featured on the Forbes Under 30 list and is a finalist for the Woman Of The Future awards 2022. She is currently working on a collection to be showcased at London Fashion Week. You can purchase her designs here!
