Blue have released their sixth studio Heart & Soul. It’s been seven years since their last album and it’s well worth the wait. Heart & Soul is possibly the best release of their entire career.
Having been in the industry and recording music together for over 20 years, Blue know their strengths musically and vocally, they know how to produce that classic Blue sound that defines them as a band.
Heart & Soul is 10 tracks full of pure pop goodness. It’s that absolutely perfect mix of nostalgia, a nod to the older Blue classics we all fell in love with “Too Close”, “Fly By”, “Breathe Easy” etc. And a more mature sound that shows that Blue very much still can create music that people love and has a place in the charts.
Songs like “Haven’t Found You Yet”, “Magnetic” and “Let’s Get Sad” are ones you will find yourself singing along to after only a couple of listens.
It’s a wonderful body of work that showcases Blue’s writing talent and how well they know each other’s voices. It’s a nod to the past and a step towards a Blue filled future which hopefully means we don’t have to wait another seven years for their next studio album.
