Virtual Strangers is a lovely and heartwarming debut from Sam Canning. It has everything you want when reading a rom-com. It’s a story that just flows so well, it’s a true testament to Sam’s wonderful writing that you find yourself immersed in the story very quickly and feel more like you are in it watching it unfold rather than just reading what happens. The whole meeting online scenario feels very current, and the depictions of Edinburgh will leave you wanting to visit.
