Alternative pop visionary Gia Ford is kick-starting the new year by heading a gig in London at The Lower Third on 24 January. Having signed to Chrysalis Records last summer, 2024 is a huge year musically for Gia.
The headline gig will see Gia perform hits such as ‘Falling in Love Again’, which she released last year. 2023 was a great year for Gia Ford as an artist as she sold out Paper Dress Vintage, London, as part of The Great Escape’s FIRST FIFTY, securing her place to perform at the festival in May this year.
For Gia her music comes from many places of inspiration including those figures on the fringes of society are by far the most fascinating. Her songs tell the stories of the downtrodden to the downright dangerous. Her haunting previous single ‘Alligator’ perfectly illustrates this, and through her vivid storytelling, we begin to hear familiar, uncomfortable truths about ourselves.
She’s also just been announced to support Marika Hackman on her headline tour in March!
