The Tomlinsons take a telly to Glastonbury to watch England’s Football Match

Siblings Louis and Lottie Tomlinson have both been enjoying all that Glastonbury has to offer this year. But also wanted to watch England’s latest Footie match. The organisers at Glasto had decided they weren’t going to cater to both footie and music fans, opting not to show the match on screens across the festival.

Louis Tomlinson and his sister Lottie along with their friends took matters in to their own hands when they found out and went to Argos and purchased a TV, Generator and used a hotspot in order to play the match themselves while still enjoying the festival.

News quickly travelled and soon a few hundred people were crowded round watching England play in the Euros.

Glasto staff tried to put a stop to it but it was pointed out that there was nothing in the terms and conditions stating festival goers could not bring in a TV. The staff very quickly left when news travelled they were trying to shut it down and members of the crowd booed them, they left them to it.

Louis spoke to a journalist from The Guardian who was at the festival ” It’s the second screen I bought. The first one cracked. I wasn’t going to take credit for it if we lost in normal time but now we’ve equalised I’m happy to.”

Both Louis and Lottie are currently gearing up for a busy summer with Louis set to headline and appear at numerous festivals across Europe after two sold out world tours of which he has released a live album of. And Lottie will release her second book, a memoir , Lucky Girl in August.
