Clickbait is a book you need to clear your schedule for as once you start it you will not want to put it down. L.C North has definitely cemented herself as one of our favourite authors with this book. It is a must read for fans a true crime and reality TV. A delicious mix that has so many unpredictable and thrilling twists that you do not see coming.
The different use of media rather the traditional chapter and paragraphs gives it lots of depth and a really immersive feel. The Youtube comment section felt like you were really reading comments on the video site as each comment had a unique voice.
None of the characters in the book were paticularly likeable but that all fed in to the plot and made it even more fun to read.
It’s a book that would make a great TV series. Reminds me of a mix of The Kardashians and a TV show that used to air in the early 00’s, Dirty, Sexy Money.
Cannot wait to read the next book L.C North releases.
