Raise a Glass to a Dance Triumph: The Midnight Bell Returns!

The drinks are poured, the lights are dimmed, and the stage is set—Matthew Bourne’s award-winning The Midnight Bell is back, and it’s bringing an all-star cast along for the ride! Kicking off at Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre on May 15, 2025, the production will embark on a 17-week nationwide tour, dazzling audiences in venues across the country—many for the very first time.

And what a cast it is! 14 of New Adventures’ most celebrated performers will take the stage, making this one of the most electrifying ensembles in the company’s history. Returning to their critically acclaimed roles are Reece Causton, Glenn Graham, Daisy May Kemp, Andrew Monaghan, Liam Mower, Bryony Pennington, and Michela Meazza—the latter of whom even won a National Dance Award for her role in this very production.

Joining them for the first time in The Midnight Bell are a dazzling lineup of New Adventures legends: Cordelia Braithwaite, Dominic North, Edwin Ray, Danny Reubens, Ashley Shaw, and Alan Vincent. And let’s not forget rising star Hannah Kremer, recently lauded for her stunning turn as Juliet in Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet.

A theatrical deep dive into the seedy, seductive world of Patrick Hamilton’s London, The Midnight Bell explores the complexities of human connection, love, and the darker corners of the heart. And with Bourne’s signature storytelling and choreography, expect an evening that’s equal parts intoxicating and unforgettable.

“This is, without a doubt, the finest company of New Adventures’ actor-dancers ever assembled for a single production,” says Bourne. “It’s a never-to-be-repeated opportunity to see this incredible cast bring my work to life.”

So, whether you’re a long-time fan or a newcomer to the world of New Adventures, this is one show you do not want to miss. Raise a glass, book your tickets, and prepare for a night to remember at The Midnight Bell!
