After much anticipation, Lo Lauren’s debut EP, Wonderlust, has officially arrived — and it’s everything fans hoped for and more. Across five dynamic tracks, Lo captures the highs, lows, and unpredictable turns that define life in your 20s, all wrapped up in a vibrant, hook-driven pop package.
Drawing inspiration from the pop icons of the 2010s who soundtracked her teen years, Lo blends nostalgic influences with her fresh, ambitious songwriting, creating a sound that feels timeless yet entirely her own. Wonderlust includes the previously released fan favorites Before The Kiss, Wonder, Born To Run, Rose & Jack, and a brand new track, Would It Be So Bad?
Her debut single Wonder quickly gained momentum, earning Lo the cover of YouTube’s Pop Fresh playlist and a Future Bop designation by BBC Radio 1’s Mollie King. Before The Kiss kept the momentum rolling, landing on Spotify’s New Music Friday and the cover of Fresh Finds Pop, ultimately catching the attention of Hollywood director Jordan Weiss. Weiss was so taken with the track that she featured it in the trailer for her new HBO Max film, Sweethearts.
Lo’s commitment to her craft is undeniable — she spent three months learning her latest single backwards to create an eye-catching reverse video for fans. Few debut artists show that kind of passion and attention to detail, and it’s already setting Lo apart as one to watch.
Speaking about Wonderlust, Lo shares,
“My debut EP is an honest dive into the whirlwind of my imagination—the endless ‘what ifs’, the daydreams about what could have been or might still be. It’s about craving something more: deeper love, stronger passion, and a world beyond the ordinary. Yes, my head’s often in the clouds, but life is a lot prettier from up here.”
Along with the EP, Lo has unveiled the video for Would It Be So Bad?, filmed in Soho with a group of friends at a cozy slumber party karaoke session — or “karaLOke,” as she cheekily calls it. Fittingly, the room they filmed in is the very place where Lo co-wrote the track with Carys Selvey, Andy Bannister, Andreas Mikkelsen, and Chris Chordz, with production by slowmo and andysocialclub.
Lo describes the single with her signature candidness:
“Bored and a little reckless? Sometimes that leads to terrible decisions… or maybe not. Would It Be So Bad? is about the temptation of wanting someone you probably shouldn’t. It’s playful, carefree, and full of the late-night, spontaneous energy we felt while writing it in Soho on a Saturday night.”
Live performance has also been a huge focus for Lo. She opened 2025 with a showcase at Paper Dress Vintage and supported American pop artist Mercer Henderson at a sold-out show at The Grace in London. Previously, she’s performed alongside major acts like Rudimental, 220 Kid, and Cat Burns, and played to a crowd of 25,000 at The Hundred cricket event, sharing the stage with the likes of Nell Mescal and Zara Larsson.
And she’s not slowing down: Lo recently launched GLO, a monthly fan club where she meets fans across the country for one-of-a-kind intimate performances and creative workshops. From personalized hairclips to exclusive live sessions, each event offers fans a unique opportunity to connect with Lo in a more personal and memorable way.
Wonderlust is a bold, brilliant first chapter for Lo Lauren — full of heart, ambition, and pure pop magic. And if this debut is anything to go by, Lo is only just getting started.
