Louis Tomlinson is back with new music as he releases his new single Lemonade. It’s the first taste of his upcoming third studio album, “How Did We Get Here?”, which will be released on January 23, 2026.

‘Lemonade’ is a mix of tight funkified guitars, shimmering keys, and organic percussion leading to a captivating chorus. “She’s so bitter, she’s so sweet, a little taste is all I need.

Louis says: “The most important thing was for the first single to sound ambitious sonically. It had to be big and fun. To me, ‘Lemonade’ really has instant and natural personality. It ended up being the perfect way to begin this chapter.”

For his third album, Louis has pushed himself as a lyricist, songwriter, and performer. An artist who is constantly honing his craft and smashing boundaries to create music that he believes in and is relatable to his fans. He experiments with pop, rock, and indie sounds to craft a unique sound and voice that is unmistakably and unapologetically his own.

“I sum up it as ‘The record I always deserved to make'”, he says. “My bread and butter is the honesty. I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music. I’m still learning and getting better as a singer and a songwriter. I find it impossible to be complacent; it’s not in my vocabulary. For the first time now, I’m allowing myself to be the artist I’d always hoped to be.”

He will also embark on a world tour next year, with dates in the UK, the EU, and North America already announced. The new tour will see him play the iconic Madison Square Gardens. It is the first time he will play the venue as a solo artist, having previously played the venue as part of One Direction. Tickets for the tour go on sale next week, you can get all the info here!
