And so we have reached the end of my tale. But what are endings if not new beginnings?

War Lord Scourge of Rome is the final book in the Enemy of the Empire series, and it’s a brilliant mix of humour and fighting we’ve come to love with this series.
It’s such a well-written book and the descriptions are so vivid that you feel you are there with Alaric one last time.
A fantastic end to what has been one of my favourite historical series.
