Binding Threads on Beamer Street is the latest novel from author Sheila Riley to be published via Boldwood Books.
Liverpool 1935
Ambitious event planner Daisy Haywood is torn between a safe and steady engagement to Harvey Harris and her lingering love for Max Galant, the adventurous journalist who left her to pursue this career overseas. Daisy must decide if love is a luxury she can afford or the only thing worth fighting for.
Reckless Bridie Haywood returns from London under a cloud of mystery; her plight worsens when her movie star good looks attract the attention of notorious Beamer’s factory boss Henry Beamer who is only after one thing. But Henry has secrets, dangerous secrets, which if exposed could see him hang. Does Bridie have a clear conscious or will she have to leave Beamer Street once more.

Binding Threads on Beamer Street is the fourth book in the Beamer Street series. Although it works well as a standalone, as this was the first book I have read in the series and I enjoyed it and didn’t feel like I was missing anything.
It’s extremely well paced and has an original plot which keeps you gripped as it unfolds. The characters have so much depth to them that you really become invested what happens to them.
A lovely read, I will definetly read the other books in the series.
