Ring Of Fire is a brilliant read that draws you in from the very first page and ticks all the boxes tropewise, including Enemies to lovers, Hidden identity, Forced proximity, Shapeshifters, Fated mates, and Found family.
Scarlen is a phenomenally written character who you connect with immediately and become incredibly invested in. The world-building Kate has done with this first book makes me very excited to read the rest of the series. It’s a gritty, tense, immersive action-packed read that you will find yourself absolutely captivated by.
Books like this are why I cannot get enough of Romantasy books. Roll on book 2!
