Some bands seem to appear overnight. AFTERDRIVE haven’t.

The Suffolk four-piece have been steadily building something over the last couple of years, and if 2026 has proved anything, it’s that people are starting to take notice.

Fresh from touring across the UK and Europe with Maggie Lindemann, supporting Ed Sheeran at his hometown Portman Road stadium show and earning backing from BBC Radio 1, the band have now returned with their latest single, Neon View.

Following the success of Fashion, the new track feels like another natural step forward. Produced and mixed by Thomas Mitchener, Neon View blends shimmering synths, driving guitars and an infectious chorus that feels destined to find a home in the band’s live set.

The timing couldn’t be much better either.

This weekend, AFTERDRIVE headline the Suffolk Stage at the brand-new Halo Festival, sharing the wider bill with Two Door Cinema Club and The Vaccines before returning to Ipswich for what promises to be a special hometown headline show at Baths on 19 September.

And there’s even more to look forward to.

The band have already confirmed that news of their debut EP and a UK tour is on the way, meaning Neon View is unlikely to be the last we’ll hear from them this year.

It’s easy to understand why there’s a growing buzz around AFTERDRIVE. They’ve never felt like a band chasing trends or overnight success. Instead, they’ve built things step by step, playing bigger stages, reaching bigger audiences and making the most of every opportunity that comes their way.

If Neon View is anything to go by, that journey is only just beginning.
