Lisa, who is best known for being head makeup artist on Strictly Come Dancing, has over twenty years experience in the industry, she knows her stuff!

Lisa also gives a really helpful tip for getting the right shade for your skin, when buying this one. “As your skin tone can change throughout the year I often mix 2 shades to get the perfect match. If you have a cool skin tone (purple looking veins) try mixing 2 cool shades (shade 10, 30, 50, 70) and if you have a warm skin tone (green looking veins) mix 2 warm shades (shade 20, 40, 60, 80). I mix them by adding a dot of each onto the back of my hand and blending them together before using a flat foundation brush to apply onto the T-zone, cheekbones and chin. Once I’ve applied I blend out with a buffing brush until I’m happy with the coverage and finish. To build fuller coverage I’ll simply repeat the steps.”
