Louis Tomlinson and his Louies are a force to be reckoned with

Louis Tomlinson is a force to be reckoned with. As are his fans, his Louies. We know this. He’s now landed himself in the prestigious Guinness Book of Records, as a record-breaker for the first time as a solo artist.

In December 2020 Louis decided to team up with online streaming platform Veeps for a record-breaking live event, Louis Tomlinson: Live From London which gave his fans all over the world the chance to see him perform his album Walls live as he put on an entire gig.

Directed by Charlie Lightening. The profits from the Livestream and limited edition merchandise supported Louis’s own tour crew and three other charities, Crew Nation, Stagehand, and Bluebell Wood.

 It became the biggest live stream of the year by any male solo artist, selling over 160k tickets globally which has now seen Louis be featured in the Guinness Book of Records.

A phenomenal feat, which was even more astounding because it was all organized without the backing of any major label. It was just Louis, his management team and of course his Louies who got behind the event of promoted it on social media. His Louies used their personal accounts and update accounts to post about the event, they got it trending and they bought tickets. Tickets for themselves ran projects to help fund tickets for those who could not afford to buy one themselves.

The entry in the Guinness Book of Records belongs to Louis, it belongs to his management team for helping turn the idea into a viable course of action, to the crew who worked to create the show and to the Louies who got behind it, who streamed it, posted about it on socials and supported it any way they could.

Just as they supported him getting Walls back into the charts months after its original release and then got behind his idea to host a free festival, The Away From Home Festival, which was a huge success and will return in 2022.

Many things that Louis and his team are a true team effort and show that Louis and his Louies are a force to be reckoned with when they work towards a common goal and can be seen with accolades like this one!
