What Karl Lagerfeld’s Choupette did next

Fashion Feline, Choupette, launches her own luxury cat bed

Karl Lagerfeld’s heiress cat, Choupette, has collaborated with Munich based start up brand, LucyBalu to launch her very first product to market.  A limited edition cat cradle, designed to compliment the aesthetics of your modern home while also respecting Karl Largerfeld’s and Choupette’s style code.

Bought into the media spotlight by the late designer Karl Lagerfeld, Choupette is known for her glossy white fur and distinctive bright blue eyes.  Boasting a coveted modelling career, the beautiful Birman featured in 2015’s September issue of Vogue with Kendall Jenner and on the cover of Brazilian Vogue with Gisele Bundchen, she now unveils her first commercial collaboration.

Respecting Karl Lagerfeld’s minimalist style code, the 1,000 special edition LucyBalu x Choupette SWING (modelled by Choupette) is made of natural, champagne melange-coloured heat-retaining, and smell-absorbing wool felt suspended between two powder collated metal supports.

The SWING is 65 cm wide, 35 cm deep, and 10 cm tall, and is suitable for cats of up to 15 kg.

It costs £149 and is available on the LucyBalu online shop  and on Amazon.
