Only The Poets recently released their EP “Our Time” and performed to a sold-out crowd at Electric Ballroom Camden in London, we definitely agree it’s the bands time to shine.
Support from the evening came from Tom Millichamp and Oliver Keane both of who fully got the audience behind them with sets that showcased their own music as well as some great covers with Tom taking on Falling by Harry Styles and Oliver putting his own take on Teenage Dream by Katy Perry.
Only The Poets set was phenomenal from start to finish. From the second the band hit the stage, the energy was there and was electric, they had the sold-out crowd in the palm of their hands.
The band’s set list was jam-packed as they belted out track after track. Many from their new EP include their upcoming single and firm fan favourite ‘Nana’s House’, as well as ‘Forget Your Name’ and ‘Every Song I Ever Wrote’. Older tracks such as ‘Who’s Gonna Love You, made an appearance with the crowd singing along to every word.
The encore saw ‘Ceasefire’ and ‘Emotional’ be the choices that ended a sold-out gig for the band, along with a fan project involving balloons and lights which created a lovely moment.
With Only The Poets showcasing just what an unsigned band can achieve when they have the power of their fans behind them. They are a band that gets better and better with every gig they do, and one you will never regret going to see.
The band will be playing Shepherds Bush Empire next May, you can get tickets here!
