Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Calum Scott premieres his powerful new single, “Die For You. The tender, piano-driven ballad showcases his signature emotional depth and vocal clarity. Out now via EMI, the track is the latest release from his upcoming third studio album, Avenoir, which is set for release on September 12.

Written by Calum alongside longtime collaborators Jon “MAGS” Maguire and Corey Sanders — the trio behind his 5x Platinum hit You Are The Reason” — “Die For You” delivers a timeless declaration of unconditional love. Calum’s voice carries every lyric with breathtaking sincerity from its haunting opening line (“I wish that it was simple… “) to the soaring chorus.

“This song speaks directly to the soul,” says Calum. “It’s a poetic expression of devotion — the kind of song I always dreamed of performing.”

With sweeping strings, acoustic flourishes, and a stirring falsetto, “Die For You” reaffirms Calum’s gift for creating music that resonates through life’s most meaningful moments — from weddings to personal milestones.

Avenoir — named after a word coined in The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, meaning “the desire that memory could flow backwards” — explores themes of reflection, vulnerability, and emotional evolution. Alongside ballads like “Die For You,” the album features more upbeat tracks such as the summer-ready “Roots”, the Brit-nominated “Where Are You Now” with Lost Frequencies, and the dance-pop collaboration “Whistle” with Jax Jones.

Calum will support the album with The Avenoir Tour, a 48-city run across the UK, Europe, and North America, kicking off this October. Fans can expect an immersive, emotionally charged live experience, with stops at major venues including London’s OVO Wembley Arena, New York’s Terminal 5, and The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
