Art conservator Rose Bennet is still reeling from a bad break-up when she is offered a dream job in Venice, restoring an art collection in the Ca’ D’Ambra, a five-hundred-year-old Venetian palazzo. A Venice Summer absolutely transports you to Venice in the most gorgeous and delightful way. While I loved Rose’s story and became utterly invested in it. I was captivated by the heartbreaking and moving story of the girl in the painting. This was a story that had so much depth and was just an absolute joy to read.
